Who we are?
We are a small, family run, British registered company who have been involved in holiday rentals in Cornwall since 1964 with a division specialising in the Pink Granite Coast region of Brittany. We owned one of the largest property rental agencies in the South West managing and letting over 400 properties. We know the business thoroughly from every angle - letting and managing for other people to being property owners ourselves through to project management.
All our properties are carefully selected for their location, quality of furnishings and interior decoration. We give an honest opinion of the property. We cater for every taste and price range - some simple, some more elaborate. We only offer properties that we would actually like to stay in ourselves. Not only do we like the properties but we also like the owners and they share our philosophy of offering value for money, in a nice house in a great location. It is a partnership that we value.
Our flag ship properties are 1 Ar Pont (The Mill) and 2 Pen Len (The French House) with high standards of interior design close to the coast. The French House has ensuite accommodation. But equally we have simpler properties, some coastal and others slightly inland, that represent excellent value for money. We are sympathetic to the fact that holidays are an expensive luxury and in this respect we are able to offer a variety of different price ranges.
Sarah Furniss who manages the business and brings to it her high levels of attention to detail and standards of customer care. She has been rewarded in being recognised in the Business Women of Achievement Awards 2007 where her outstanding contribution to business was commended. With her exacting standards, she has personally visited all properties, not just once, but at regular intervals during the year. She can help you choose which property she feels will suit your needs best. Also we do not "abandon you" once you have made a booking - you can pick up the phone and speak to us or email at any time to discuss every aspect of your holiday. We know the area intimately and have a passion for its beauty and what is has to offer. With us you do not "get lost in the crowd". We care that you have a great holiday and will do all we can to help.
If you take a pet we can help and advise you and book a return appointment with a local vet in Lannion or close to your departure point. Usually we can help you achieve cheaper ferry fares with Brittany Ferries. We can recommend car hire companies too.
If you want to stay a few extra days before or after your holiday, we can advise you on local B&B establishments that we have inspected and know that they too share our philosophy.
If you are thinking of buying in this area, we too can recommend estate agents who are reliable, share our philosophy and will give you excellent after sales service - not just sell you a house.
All properties have a dossier on how the house works and local tourist information. Some offer a welcome pack and a bottle of wine. Some offer cleaning in the price and some don’t. Please check if you are unsure. They all have a local, English speaking contact in case of problems.
And of course, if you love the area like we do, and decide to buy, we can offer you a property management and letting service!
